This may be a goofy question, but isn't that what a newbies forum for?
I want to be able to play along with the stuff I've recorded on my four track without having to wear my headphones while doing so. Can I just plug my 4-track directly into my amp? I've got one of those little stereo cords that combines into one plug, so I could just plug the monitor outputs straight into one of my amp inputs, but I'm afraid of melting the amp or the 4-track, or both. Is this simply an impedence issue? Do the impedences need to be exaclty the same, or do they simply need to be close? Please help!
