I hate it whenever Behringer rips someone else off. The outfit is riding on Hyatt's coattails with their nomenclature - this is the second time they've done it - and you can bet the mic will make an excellent plumb bob.

Actually I've done a search (haven't look at new mics in years) and there are some inexpensive mics at www.musiciansfriend.com
which is tantamount to GC having them.
I didn't know that mics were so much cheaper these days.

Also, the Behri B1 came out before the SP B1, if I remember right. The Behri B2 definitely came out before the SP B series, and I assume the Behri B1 is called the B1 because its a single-pattern version of the B2.
