1. how do i assign an fx channel to a track so i can use the volume slide thing to adjust the fx e.g reverb. my tutot at college says that its better to use fx channels rather than inserts, i asked why and he said you can control the amount easier, but you can do that with an insert.????
2.when running a jack from my amp to alesis multimix i get huge amounts of gain even when gain is set to 0, this is only when i use an epiphone les paul, to componsate for this gain can i just turn down the track fader level or will this result in less sound quality?? and why do les pauls run so "hot"
3. once all level are set following manuals, guidelines ect i record into cubase. one thing i notice though is that the track wave linesarnt as thick or high as i have usually seen when people use cubase, maybe im just being picky here but i just want to make sure.
hope you guys can help.
