i've uploaded a couple of songs that I "produced" today. (it's my friend on guitar/vox).

Could you criticize (constructionally! ) on the mixing/mastering result?
Whats missing/what needs doing to it?

Hi, I like the guitar tone, but i think that is missing the High End... try boosting around the 8 -16KHz, but not too much, it's just to give a little brightness.

Maybe it's just the Brit accent but this kind of reminds me of Badly Drawn Boy. Nice little ditties.

My main beef is that for some reason it doesn't really sound like the voice and guitars are coming from the same space--the vocals sound pasted on top of the guitars. For arrangements this spare I really want to hear something that at least sounds like a live performance. I have no idea what to suggest to address that, but that was a thought that came to mind.
