Wow RAMI, I cant help that Im 56 yrs. old and sunk my teeth on TEAC/TASCAM gear

In 1976 I believe it was is when I bought a used TEAC 3340....cut plenty demos for my friends on it and still have the reels and even ncassette mixes that sound just as good today as they did back then.I call it an honor and a privelage to have a "man-crush" on anything with the TASCAM name on it

After all they are the one company that made it possible for you and every other musician/recordest to afford to have a multitrack in there home. And yes it does SUCK they they (and many other companies) make the hardware so cheap, but that is the tradeoff for all of the features you pay for. It still beats putting DAW systems together with all the learning curve and latency, crashes, using a mouse, looking at a computer screen while trying to create music.Portastudios are still one of the best ideas that ever happened PERIOD
