The kicker is, audio recording is no longer really all THAT taxing a computational problem. I'm running a M5 Studio right now, and it's ludicrously overpowered for running Reaper, even with 6-8 instances of Amplitube 5 on my DI tracks while I wait to reamp everything. I have no doubt one of these things could handle most of what I could throw at it - I went with the M5 partly because these weren't out yet, but mostly because ten years from now, I suspect it'll STILL be more than enough firepower.
