This is my first producing/mixing endeavor. Please be kind. ;)

I can already tell that the highs need a boost in the mix. Other than that does anyone have any advice for me?

"Hello Halo"

Well, I Don't Know

PS: I have recorded my own band, Tsavo, but my Dad mixed/mastered the song with my wav files in his MONSTER STUDIO... so it puts my stuff to shame. You can hear the song "Journey" at:

It's pretty good dude. Definitely not radio kapunchy, but for a first try, way to effin' go.

You need to bring the drums out more. Compress the overheads or use more room mics when you record.

I agree, the drums need to be a bit higher in the mix. And I did use a room mic, I'll have to throw that back in the mix. I muted it. What kind of effect should I use on the room mic track???
