The OP didn't mention windows.
True. On Mac it's even easier, and you answered that one in post #11. On Linux, I think you'd have to be running an emulation of Windows, so maybe ASIO4All(?), but I wouldn't know and don't care. I don't think Reaper runs on Android or iOS or Raspberry or whatever, so...

Well, it runs on iOS, it runs on Linux (Android is a flavor of Linux) under WINE, but interfaces can be a problem.

FFS! What good does all this babble about devices the OP doesn't have actually do for him, or in fact for most people? In most instances where we're asking how to use 2 or more of any interface with about any DAW in Windows, the only answer is:

ASIO4All

...which I mentioned back in post #7.

Asio4All might help but it's not automatically necessary if you can use MME/WDM drivers (assuming Windows). What Asio4All does is act as a wrapper taking MME devices and making them appear as ASIO to your recording software. When I did my not-totally-successful recording with two interfaces I didn't need Asio4All--setting the Device Class to MME was all it took. Asio4All doesn't fix potential timing/sync issues.

On Mac it's much easier. In Core Audio you can create an "Aggregate Device". However, again, where timing is critical, Core Audio can't sync two separate free running USB devices.
