2 bad drummers......

Plus Youtube is probably sucking the life out of the sound.

So next time I program ezdrummer to do something crazy no one can say a real drummer wouldn't be able to play it. ;)
 
Yeah, I'm not too concerned about the sound of the video or the size of the snare. I thought, for a couple of no-names, they play some pretty mean drums.

Probably not...but you are the only one referencing Mangini as if he's some icon of virtuosity.
 
Real nice playing

I'd agree on the snare but mostly because I wouldn't want to use a small piccolo snare as my primary snare (not enough UMPH ). But these two drummers certainly made it work for them.
 
I think the small snare/kit is maybe out of neccessity. It looks like a pretty small room

Either way, I choose to focus more on the playing than the size of the snare. I thought they were really good players, even with the small snare that nobody seems to be able to get past. :D

The snare fits their style just fine. I doubt those two black people play a bunch of hard whacking 80's hair metal. They don't need a 14x8 mega-snare. It's not like it's out of tune. It sounds good, they play good, funk on brutha and sista.

there must've been some email error, because i never did get those great insider prices from you on the 2007 pearl masters kits. :rolleyes:
 
Wow. There goes my subconscious fantasy that replacing my B8 crash is going to somehow teach me how to play drums.

That video is both inspiring and discouraging. I'll show it to my kids - maybe it'll just be inspiring for them.
