Alright, I have 2 AKG C451E mics for sale. Everyone tells me not to sell these, but they're just sitting and I need/want the money.
OK, this is pretty much the case:
I don't know ANY history of these. I bought them for $600USD about 6 months ago. When I first got them I very quickly listened to them while being preoccupied. If I remember correctly, one was quite significantly brighter than the other. I'm suspecting the capsule, may need to be replaced or simply a good cleaning, but I do not know. I may very well be completely off! The point being they're "As Is", but NOT DOA!
They've been sitting in my studio mic cabinet ever since. I was planning to have them modded by Jim Williams of Audio Upgrades for $150 each once I got the money, which is VERY reasonable, but I really am wanting other things right now, so I figure I can get rid of these and MAYBE buy other C451s later if I REALLY wanted.
So, now I'm getting rid of them at a hopefully low enough price to sell them quickly.
$500USD. I prefer PayPal, but if you can quickly get me a money order, we can do that too.
