1st time with multitrack

Hello,

I am a drummer, my buddy and I recorded this song last night... It is just a jam session so it is not a finished product. I was hoping that you might listen to it and tell me what you think?

We used our new MOTU 828mkII to record.

Drum mics:
AKG D112 - kick
Shure SM57 - snare
Superlux kit - toms
Oktava - Overheads

Guitar was plugged direct into the MOTU.

Um.. was this an 8-track or a 4-track?

For the song, I reccomend you add some highs into your drum mix, the snare and toms sound muddy. cut back on some lows but not too much. The Guitar sounds cool, no problems with it.

yeah, have you tried EQing the snare and the toms. Other than that it sounds pretty good. Try giving the snare maybe some small reverb to give it a more lively tone.
