1997 Analog Recording Articles

thanks:D that was a good read

Have you ever noticed whith the multi track cassette's they allways give you a range, even though all you probably only need is just a rack unit whith straight line-in's and outs. I guess they are trying to maximise profits, by adding features that you may not want or need? They do the same thing whith digital multi track units, like you can only record 2 tracks at a time and there are only stereo outs, and if you want more than that you realy have to pay?

Thanks a lot guys, I truly appreciate this.
To contribute, I made small size pdf files of all articles. I think the quality is decent enough for computer screens (and pda's for those who take the 'Portable Document Format' extremely literal), but if you want it bigger and better just let me know. It's not as much work as scanning the whole thing ;) Thanks again!

My website is running out of bandwidth, so I am sorry that I had to use Yousendit to upload the zip file. This means it will be available for only 7 days!

Thanks for the pdf.

Now here's my contribution. I thought that first article sounded familiar so I looked around in my saved files and found text versions of two of them that are still available from the SOS site. :)

They aren't as nice without the pictures but good for reference and searchable.

Someday I'm going to will my hard drive to some lucky SOB and he's going to have years of fun finding all the treasures in my recording folder and endless subfolders. :D

Some of us like to look at the pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SOS don't have all their articles on site due to copyright issues, the older the issue the less likely it seems?

Don't buy it much anymore apart from an odd issue here & there, like most recording magazines it's full of adverts & reviews trying to sell the latest gizmo's!
