Does anyone know if there is a pro blem or conflict with MAC OS9 and Korg 1212I/O sound card? After updating to OS9,
I have not been able to access my 1212 sound card. a box comes up that reads 'there are no 1212 I/O cards found.
Your sound card may be in use by another application'.
I've checked. No other application is using it. At least not one that I can see... I have changed the cards' software
version to 1.3, which I thought may have been the problem
when I went to KORG'S site and found out there was a reccomended new version. I am having the same problem.
Please help, if you can.

thanks,

What software are you trying to run? What machine are you using? What OS did you upgrade from? Need more info!

AlinMV, I am trying to run Cubase VST 4.1. I am using a blue and white G3 300 MHZ. I upgraded from os 8.7
The memory is turned off as well as AppleTalk.
And I've trashed old preferences after upgrading all software mentioned previously.

The problem may lie in the extensions you trashed. I suggest you try the following:

Start with Mac base OS extensions, and then add the following extensions:

Korg 1212
Any serial or USB drivers
SOMObjects
Shared Library Manager
Shared Library
Sound Manager is not necessary with G3's.

Also, make sure all extensions necessary for Cubase are added.

Good Luck

Albert
