Cool... love the detuned feeeel. Changes. Rhythms. Reminded of that song "(cuz I'm a) Creep". Scrumtious guitar... wanna take a bite.

Dude, you got note choice happenin'!:D

Some intonation issues with that guitar, and too much compression.

Lotsa sibilance on that vocal and too much 'verb.

This has serious potential. Cool chord changes and arrangement. Put some more time into it and you'll be there!:)

Okay man, I don't really know much about anything, but in my humble opinion, the last 2 things you posted tell me that you don't need a band. A band apparently brings you down... LOL.

I listen to a lot of stuff on this BBS that's produced about 1,000 times better than this that I don't like 1/2 as much...But I'm kind of a sucker for sparse "arrangements," lol...if that's what we wanna' call this. :D

I'm not gonna' lie to you, the "mix" on this is total shit. I mean that in the most constructive way possible, I swear I do. The guit's out of tune in that way that's oh so apparent on an electric guitar. In fact, as I listen to it, it gets IN tune on some chords, so it may be the neck. Fuck it, I don't know what it is, but ...lmao..it's out.

The other part you fucked up: there are a grand total of 2 instruments on here....AND YOU GOT THE LEVELS WRONG!! ...rotflmao. I'm only saying this like this b/c I figure you'll laugh...but Holy fucking Christmas, how hard is it to bring your vocal up to an audible level when it's up against a solo guitar??? Get some fucking CONFIDENCE in that vocal...because, (even though you distorted the piss out of it at 3:30), the raw material is definitely there.

ok. the name assholicus got my attention (not cause it rhymes with erichenryus). in kind of an 'assholicus.....eeeww' kind of way. but then when i finally navigated to the song and saw 'stick it in my ear', i started crying. i mean i haven't even listened to it yet and you already get five stars for the humor alone. i'll be back after it downloads, in the meantime, turn up the vocals!

first of all, that's a great song. terrible mix. but a great song. i think you mentioned the recording chain in another thread but i'm too lazy to look that up right now. before i forget, i really like the ooooo's. that's a nice little hook.

now i'm going to lash out at you, but it's for your own good, and i'm only saying it cause i think there is a lot of potential here. so do something about the mix dude. the guitar is way up there. eq it, double it, do whatever you have to to get it the fuck out of the way of the vocal. cause that's nice. especially whatever you did on the last 'every pretty girl has a boyfriend'. the vocal was very present and dry there for some reason. what did you do on that one? do it on the whole song. and turn down the damn guitar!!!!
