I am not sure if I am entering this game to late, but here is my attempt. With the 1.5 hr restriction, I got all the excuses in the world for my bad singing, so, I've finally decided to put my full-length singing on this site for the first time.

Hey A1A2,
...nice stuff man. The guits and shakers sound nice. It sounds like a nice tune for developing further..... ...the vocs give it a bit a Cure'ish feel.

Nice work,

great

hi there, downloading now.............excited.

Erland

cool

I think we have similar ways of recording. The song with this vocal take sounds really live. The shaker is quite quiet though. but anyway cool. You sound like an American ASH. They are quite popular in the UK.

The middle section (1 24) is the best part to me when the vocal slips in under the first one and to me the song itself here is coolest. 1 53 is a great part. The almost oftuning sounds groovy at the end.

Catch you later

cool sound.. has the Erland signature chord sound going on in there.

great job for just 1.5 hours

keep @ it

Guernica:
yeah, I wanted to add strings and other stuff, but, had to stick to the rules :)

Erland:
I got to admit that this song/recording was Erland-influenced. Being a not-so-natural-singer, I still got a long way to go, and until then, I can only imitate what I hear...
Thought I nailed your guitar sound when tracking with cans, but then found out there was too much highs after hearing them on my monitors. Anyways, it was a fun experience

JMarcomb:
I am so busted!!

ps. Can someone recommend me some singer/singing style for voice like mine?

Thanks for the listen, guys

i think this is the first thing of yours that i've heard. cool to hear so much acoustic guitar on this site. i like yours just fine. they are a tad brittle compared to some others. just a tad though, not a lot. they sound great. god, i wish i could play guitar.

oh, i like that last chord. not sure if that's a mistake or not, but for some reason i like it.

ok, you got a couple pitch issues with your singing but nothing a couple more takes (stretch the effort to 2 hours even maybe) wouldn't fix.

nice post.

A1A2=AOK. this was a great tune. I wish I could come up with laid back strummers like this. The shakers worked wonderfully.

Nice song...smoke a fatty...I liked the chord changes and composition...Good theme.Heard your seat skweek!!:p

Not bad... almost familiar... it's one of those... "hey.. I know this song!" things... then you say... "wait a minute... maybe not?"

Are you Danish? Cool accent... Good 90 minute song... the last chord is unique... keep it :)

"A1A2"... Lawrence Welk-come-ah...

Thanks alot for the listen, guys. The last chord is an open major with a sharpened 9th placed in a little odd spot of the progression. I am addicted to this chord. Check "Oh Well" if you will.

participant: Taiwanese/Chinese here. Tried to sound American for this one, so had to bust out a standard chord progression to help it :)

erichenryus: This is first time for me to post a full length vocal recording since all my roommates are gone for Christmas, and I finally get to step out of my little "I am shy" box

Thanks all for the listen
