001 dual core help!

How do I run a 001 on a dual core system. I know i have to assign it to one processor. How do you do it? I really need to be up and running in a week. I have 2 gigs to do.

If you are useing xp, when you open pt do not open a session..right click on the bottom next to start (on that bar go's across the screen) then select task manager, in processes right click on pro tools, select Set affinity, there you can shut down one of the processors!!
