yes condenser yes phantom power. too broke to get another one...such a setback for . not complaining just venting I guesss....ahhhhh!

so I did some research and found that the firebox would suffice for the price range I was working with.... then I popped it out of thebox and had to turn the gain up alllll the way to get any mic feed. are the pres just shot or it this normal?

I bought my first interface a couple months ago and I went with the firebox. only gripe I have is the mic line has to be turned up all the way on the firebox to get a good recording. it doesn't hinder me in any way though so I still really like it. it cones with either cubase 5 le or studio one...

I have an AT 4040 mic and love it! ivenever owned any other mic but havebeen fully satisfied with it's quality. I rap also.

How can I eq only the first part? And the mother line was my first shot at layering and you're right it's dull, I also turned it down quite a bit but turning up wouldn't make it sound better haha. Nevermind I get what you were saying with the eq.
