Hi Jonhale,.i have added a 2nd drive and backed up all data on drive 1 , but as i record extra tracks on a new song recording can i add these to the same song on drive2 and can you explain how to do it please?.thanks,ted.

Hi,IM recording an album on Fostex 24-24 and need a few friends to add Bass n Drums etc,.none of them have Fostex 24-24 but have various PC or Mac rec setups. is there any way i can send them tracks to play on and then get them into my 24 fostex?,.thanks. ted.:guitar:

ok, thats prob the only way but, cheers tim, i asked this same question on a german supplier of alesis 16,with cubase,.....they told me that its possible to record all 12 tracks together thru alesis , but i have to get cubase ESSENTIAL 4,...what do you make of that,...is it just a sales pitch...

hi, hope somebody can help, im thinking of getting alesis multimix 16 USB = Cubase steinberger pc recorder,.as i have an old 12 track recorder [analogue] thats about to die, and i have 30 large vhs type [but not as big] cassettes of 12 tracks of recorded stuff that i need to copy to digital [PC]...

Q for Hangdawg,... hi hangdawg,...you seem to be a confirmed alesis 24hd man,..i have heard great reports on this machine but as its quite a new recorder the price would be beyond my budget[ at least 60% beyond],..so my question is ! do alesis make a 16 track hd [ 24bit] as i dont need 24...

let it stand ,... if the acoustic track is good quality,then add a small amount of stereo revereb,give the tone some body,a small bit of comp/limt,..turn it up in mix,...it should speak proud,:)dobrocop.
