Anyone else find this disturbing marketing jargon?

So wouldn't this phenomenon require a sample rate about ten times higher in order to truly acurately reproduce the high frequency information up to 20khz? because you could get this same result with a signal well below the sample rate, at any frequency really.

Anyone else find this disturbing marketing jargon?

Well I guess the real question is can digital audio capture high frequency signals that are out of phase less than 180 degrees with the sample clock? I understand that you get a sample 44100 times a second but what if you have a signal that peaks between those samples would it just be recorded...

Anyone else find this disturbing marketing jargon?

Ok here's my question. Say you have two seperate tones at 20khz but they are 90 degrees out of phase with each other wouldn't you need a 40khz sampling rate to capture both of them? and wouldn't both of them be audible (assuming you could hear 20khz) and likewise if you had 5 such tones...

The song sounds great, good tune. Sounds kinda dark and muffled though can't really hear the cymbals very well. Need more upper midrange and treble.

Thinking of buying the Phonic Helix18FW

The N12 looks awesome but I was thinking I'd like more inputs I'd like to be able to mic a whole band including the drum kit. But hey I'm totally new to this so I don't really know if this is even how it's done. Maybe I could have a seperate mixer for the drums or even just a preamp and mix...

Do you really buy that expensive recording software?

Of course all the Sony software (formerly Sonic Foundry) can be downloaded for free and then you just get a key generator from Limewire and Viola the full version straight from the source. I don't condone this of course other than for testing/educational purposes. I WILL buy Sound Forge before...
