    FS: Boss OC-3

Hey guys, Have a Boss OC-3 in near mint condition for sale. Neat little pedal - great for adding some low end to thicken up a lead part (sounds really cool before a distortion pedal) or to lay down a bass part on a loop pedal. Tracks well and the poly mode is surprisingly accurate for when...

    MAckie 32 x 8 bus console w/ meter bridge & power supply. Also M-Audio DMP3 Preamp

Have fun with that DMP3. I love mine :) If the power supply doesn't show up tomorrow - you could try digging through other old power adapters you have. As long as it's 9VAC, rated to 1A (1000mA), and fits (2.5mm plug) then you're good to go! Maybe a stretch...but I know how wall warts tend to...

Live Video Sessions from my Basement Studio - Opinions?

We've recently starting a project to collect the local bands (and whatever touring bands we can snag!) in Champaign-Urbana and invite them in to do live video sessions in my studio. A website is forthcoming, but for now Youtube fits the bill (not EXACTLY mp3s...but oh well ) This is...

    USB interface with XLR out

Personally, I use these and they work! Both have a 1/4" TRS male connector on one end. Keep in mind, these are for balanced connections. With XLR Male End With XLR Female End

WTB: Presonus Firestudio Family or Digimax

Hmmmm, this may have been an oversight on my part while writing the thread title, but there doesn't seem to be anyway to hook the Digimax LT and the Firestudio Project together...ugh. I'm going to keep looking for a way that can happen, but I think perhaps my search needs to be limited to...

WTB: Presonus Firestudio Family or Digimax

Gonna give it another bump. While the FS Tube would be a sweet addition, it is a bit out of my price range at the moment. Hoping to find something closer to $200 or $300 range.

WTB: Presonus Firestudio Family or Digimax

Hey guys, I'm currently running a Firestudio Project and looking to expand my inputs. Does anyone have something in the Firestudio family (Fs26, Project, Tube, etc) or possibly a Digimax D8 they'd be willing to part with? PS - I do see the post a few below me, but I'm trying to avoid the 'bay ;)

    Drum Micing

Definitely use overheads, they add a lot of "air" to the kit and help get a natural sound. If you use all close-mics, the drums will probably sound quite strange ;) A GREAT thread on this board that discusses mic'ing drums...

Working on some DIY Bass Traps - Need Opinions

I'm working on building some broadband bass traps. The plan is to build a frame from wood, cut some holes on the sides, fill with insulation, and upholster. As these are just going to be a temporary solution and cheap is of the utmost importance, I've decided to forgo the standard 703 treatment...

Upgrading the home studio setup! What to do?! :-S

Interface: I agree with wheelema in the fact that if you're going to be using a lot of mics, an interface with build-in preamps might be a better option. Personally I have the Presonus FireStudio Project. Gives me 8-inputs with mic pre's and phantom power (necessary for condenser mics)...
