That does sound good. I have a free Balancer Plugin (see here - Balancer - developed by sonible and Focusrite ) which might do a similar thing. I keep forgetting to use it (doh).

Hi, thanks for listening... I'll take the Genesis reference :) I was thinking a little more reverb on the vocals. I'm always worried about over doing it - so I probably didn't put enough on.

To get rid of the silence, you can do a Clip Board in and out at the start and end of your track, then a punch in at the very beginning of the program. Then do a move. You will then have to do a punch in at the end of your track and a punch out at the end of the program and delete to remove...

Sounds very good. The vocals are a little up in the mix for me - but I think this style needs that. It's all about the vocal.

I really like this. I'm not gonna be able to give you any technical advice, but I would've preferred to have been able to hear some more of the cymbals, hats and ride… It feels a little compressed…?

Search for the manual on the web - it will be there. Off the top of my head, hold shift and press rec. It will go into mix mode. Press play and record together.

Create a mix of your song. That will create a new program with the mix on just tracks 1 and 2. Then burn an audio cd of the mix program. Audio cds only record tracks 1 and 2...
