i like em alot for the price. some say they sound brittle but i disagree, with good placement the are very good sounding mics as oh. i just posted a somng under "old school thrash metal" in the mp3 section where i used em as oh. alot of the toms actually come from them and not the close mics.

i do FoH in a club thats got a pile of 81s. i brought a couple and used em as oh instead of my 603s. more detail, less sizzly high (but stil pretty bright mics). liked em better than the 603s but not as much as akg 451s.
