hey cool...thanks man..i actually figured it out...it was that the tap tempo function is only available on some of the patches...but while youre here...heres one more question if ya dont mind...the delay programs can be edited in terms of time,obviously..but they break it down into three...

i have one of these units...and i see in the manual it has a "tap tempo" like on my POD...where i can set the delay to the tempo i want by just touching a button a few times to the beat of the song...how do i do this on my midiverb...i cant seem to figure it out...also...id like a setting where...

my 2 cents the roc pro's are NOT all tube...theres one in the preamp that doesnt do shit...i bought one...and it SUCKS BAD ..seriously....i think youd be better off with a "blues deville" for close to the same money as the roc pro half stack...the roc pro i had fell apart past "4" and was...

the only cd-r that will back up vf-16 data is the fostex CR3000. its the only cd-r that recognizes the fostex 'fdms' language

the vf-16 has automated mixing that is possible without losing significant amounts of hair...on the roland products its almost more trouble than its worth...besides id take 16 track/16 bit over less tracks/more bits anyday...i want my stuff to sound great but i AM only recording at home..as far...

hey neptune...i finally got to talk to a fostex tech...and he said you can back up to cd-r...but only with the cr300 burner...pretty shitty for the rest of us huh? it doesnt make alot of sense...digital is digital...but oh well what can ya do?

ok i tried saving to cd-r and it seemed to be working..but when i tried to load the data the vf-16 would not lock up with the cd-r. like i said the manual says the only digital back up is DAT or ADAT..this sucks

interesting..i hope you can back up to cd-r. have you tried it yet? because in the manual (page 80)it talks about backing up to DAT,ADAT,and ZIP...i guess ill give it a try,but i see what you mean about the 2 tracks at a time...ughhh...anyways i guess ill give it a try and report back

hi wally,yes you can record straight to cd-r and skip the Dat...and dont mind sonusman...he keeps comfusing this site for PROrecording dot com instead of HOMErecording dot com...besides,go look at his picture under his articles and you'll see why hes so pissed off
