I have a Octava condersor mic, dont remember the model number, since I am at work. Anyway there are 2 slide switches on one side of it? What are these for? One has an "N" and the other has "+" & "-" on it.

I just bought Cubase SE3 and I am having a problem burning a project to cd. When I go to export, audio mixdown it tells me the left and right selectors arent set. What does this mean and how do I fix it? THanks

I need a pair of headphones for playing/recording drums. I need something that I dont have to have the volume all the way up to hear the track I am recroding on. I would like to keep the price in the range of 100-150, unless that is not possible. I would like to use them for mixing also. Thanks

I actually bought Cubase SE yesterday and it seems to be working alot better. Maybe it was just the program. I appreciate all the help, now it is time to get in there and record some stuff this weekend.

Tracks Running Slow They dont line up visually or the sound sound doesnt line up? i dont really care about visually but when i listen back it just sounds terrible. On my m-audio interface the only option i have is for the latency, i dont have any smaple rates options. Thanks for all the help.

The problem was when i play back, it is just playing the track a little either behind or ahead of the original track. Even just visually, you can tell where the chords were played and even that doesnt line up.

OK, last night i tried to record a brand new song, just a very basic guitar riff. So i could try to play along with it on another track. And the 2nd track would not line no matter what I did. I changed the latency and everything else I could, it just would line up. It is like the new track is...

track running slow yeah i am sure when i record it is fine. I tried to just play single notes along with the original song, just to see if i was hearing things. and the single notes werent lined up. I am using Mixcraft as my recording software and going thru an M-Audio usb mobile pre interface...

Hey guys, I am recording on my laptop hp 1.5, 40gb hard drive and just put in 1 meg ram. Using a m-audio usb interface. my problem is that i have some songs i have recorded months ago (guitar, bass, drums & vocals), the problem is now the ew track i record are draggin behind the old ones...
