I played one for the second time at Sam Ash today. It was $1000. I have heard of people buying it for $800. Where I don't know. Maybe someone can fill me in. I also want to try out an Alvarez. I want something with a thin neck. Anything else I should try out?

Do I need a DI box to plug in a keyboard to guitar pedals? I'm worried about burning out the inputs and not getting a good tone from possible impedance mismatching. Thanks, EIK

I'm thinking about picking up the $190 Sansamp bass driver DI. Do I really need this though to record my bass that has active pickups? I have a hartke 200watt combo with a 15" speaker. Some mics I could use: akg C3000B (would be kind of a hassle since I use this for vox. and ac. guitars)...

I have always hated tuning my drums. I'm never quite happy with the way that they sound. Right now I'm trying to focus on getting my snare drum to sound good. It's a 6x14 maple drum with die cast rims. I made a page where I put up some soundfiles and a picture. Hopefully someone out there...

Hi, I'm looking for a chart that indicates what the approximate frequencies of different instruments should be in a proper mix. ie. Drums **Hz - **KHz - Bass **Hz - **KHz etc. A graphic chart would be nice. Thanks A Lot, EIK
