    Can I add eq or other effects (e.g., reverb) to my Porta 2? It has two 1/4" inputs (mic/line) and a pair of L-R RCA outputs. Thanks. Lou

    Porta 2 and effects

    Simple is as simple does. How can I use EQ or other effects (e.g., reverb)with my Porta 2? It has 2 1/4" inputs (mic/line) and one pair of R-L RCA line inputs. I'm generally doing vocals and guitar/second guitar recording. Thanks. Lou

    Limits of Porta02

    I'm new to homerecording, although have been playing guitar for years and done some studio and home recording at other folks' places. Seems like there's a major leap in capabilities from the Porta02 to the 414 or 424. I'm wondering if it makes sense to start with the Porta02 and move up later...
