Or actually combining the manyband, for purely peaks, and the multiband, for a bit more processing, to a singleband would be the best. Which then probably approximating optimal bandsplits with 24dB LR splits, will make this feasible. PBWY.

I tested it a bit more, and found it to sound ok up to 4 bands, but after that bandsplitting artifacts become too much. The L316 is a much better manybands process, than this at 10, but for 3-4 bands, it is quite ok. PBWY.
