I am looking into the RØDE nt1-a for drum overheads. I couldn't find anywhere on the forum that this has been done (well i did once but the link was broken). I am basically wanting a good mic for oh's, acoustics, and vox. I know oh's and the guitar are usually sdc but i was suggested this mic...

a lot of them today have USB capabilities which allows you to export from the machine onto the computer. You can edit and then make a cd from there. My MR8-HD has a usb host thing where you can actually get an external burner and then...well...burn them :) hope that helps any

it would be better if you can find a mixer to put in front of it. I use my peavey 24 channel in front of my mr-8HD. The preamps usually do suck on the fostex. Try to turn up the gain on the mixer and turn it all the way down on the HD. See if that helps ya out.

well thanks...no eq at all has been done to it yet...i just raised the volume up to that level...and its been left alone...
