Hey guys, Im thinking about making some beats and some techno songs. Ive been looking at the Akai LDP8 and the Launch Pad. I like how small the Akai is. But it seems like the launch pad has a little bit more options. I will probably be using garageband or ableton live.

Any tips on which one i should get? The ableton launch pad looks a tad bit complicated to me.

Like the title mentioned, I'm wondering which version of Ableton to get. I have a Akai LPD8 laptop pad and would like have a bigger variety of sounds and beats to choose from. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the tips guys. I purchased it anyways. We shall see how it goes on thursday. I was looking at this recording interface by M-audio its called Avid® Recording Studio sorry cant post links yet :/ its a 130 bucks not to bad. Any suggestions for others in that price range?
