Hey dobro. Nope. I am totally confined to my DAW here. I have a lexicon omega, Cool Edit 2.1, and amplitube (among a few other DX FX)

Is there any way to apply FX from say...amplitube...during monitoring or recording so we dont have to hear a clean guitar sound. DOnt want to record the FX, but I would like to use the distortion, etc while recording.

Hehe. Good grief. I am searching for some other information but I keep running across posts like this. :p Lexicon Omega is not bound to one software package. It can be used with Cooledit. They have help files on their site to help you configure everything.

Re: OMEGA Incorrect. It works with most tracking software packages. They even have a howto on Lexicon's site for setting up your particular program of choice.

I have to agree. Very nice sound. The leads can be a bit busy at times which gave you a few bad tone spots. Overall I really like this a lot.
