puh, my english... you see inthe list with the miks, the points & the files from each mic, i start with the winner :) the first 3 mic's are great, the next 3 are ok & the last 6 are cheap or bad... the best mic for not to much money is the rode nt1000...

for a mic under $100.- the mxl603 sound awesome. the earthworks sr77 is much more presice, but the price is 5 times higher than the mxl & somethimes you don't need a precise sound, but the "vintage sound" of the 603. i love my earthworks, but i like the mxl603 a a different taste. the m221b is...

nearly everything. the mic has very harsh pushed highs and not detailed mids. the adk s51a is better for a similar price, i also think a view mxl-mics are better & the audio technica 3035 also.

nobody have something to write about this comparing?

i own a ntk, its ok, but not a killer. for this money it will be difficult, to get a better mic, but its not in the range of tubemics for more than $1000.-

hallo harald da sind wir also wieder :) i got the package a view hours ago testet my mxl603 them with guitar, vocal & shaker. i compare them with my earthworks sr77 & my tlm103. the funny thing is, that on paper the 603 looks like a "pushed" mics with lot highs, but its more a "midrange" mic...

i order 2 mxl 603s (the should arrive in the next days) & im just a bit courios, how different the 2 mxl603-mics sound. i don't had the possibility to order a matched pair. this mics are "cheap chinese mics", who have a few mxl603 & can tell me, how different they sound from each & each other...

i made the files with logic audio & test them with samplitude & wavelab without problems.

i think, i get your rating, not? many peaple have problem downloading to big files, so i made many small ones & i don't have endless webspace :)

please DON'T put the files on the net & DON'T send them to anyone. mp3 is not good enough for a serios comparing.
