Just got my Syteks yesterday, so I broke them in on my drums. Channels 1 and 2 are overheads, and the Burr Browns are on snare and kick. The solo isn't the greatest, I just hit record and went at it. Comments on drum sound would be most welcome!

I have 2 Layla 20s hooked up on my XP pc. No troubles at all, just hook both pci cards in and it should automaticly detect 16 channels and you're good to go.

A quick question, I have a sytek on the way, although what kind of connector is the out on it. I think it's xlr but I can't remember for sure. Are there any links where I can find a good XLR to 1/4 patch cable for it so I can connect it to my laya?

If you think just hearing him play on DMB albums is good, check out his DVD Under the Table and Drumming. Just watching him, and all the little things he does to accent the music is crazy.

I ran it through a frequency analyzer, but it only goes up to 16k. I think I might have worded my origional question wrong, I don't need to eq 20k, but just a little over 16k.
