E- Which A/D/C have you used and what did you use them with? That's a very bold statement without much fact for backing it up. Have you ever used the Apogee BigBen as a master house clock?

Have you checked the compatibility of your software with dual processors? I remember when Cubase couldn't support HyperThreading (since been patched).

I would also check to see if the software supports Mackie HUI or controll surfaces. If it does try to use the Makie Emulation mode within the driver panel.

Have you updated to the current drivers and Firmware revision? Have you updated your OS and hardware firmware for the G5?

I'm not sure what you mean by sync. If you have the drivers installed and select it as your I/O device it will be in sync.
