They still show up from time to time...not so rare, guess I just have had bad luck/timing so far...
I'll hold out until I find one that's at a reasonable price.
Ive been looking for one of these for a little over a month now, after some advice here.
They seem to be a hard find...
If anyone sees one for sale or is selling one, please keep me in mind.
I don't mind paying for shipping, I'm located in NYC.
Any opinions on this? Looking for a good cd recorder.
I know the pdr555rw is highly regarded here.
But I'd like to get one locally and they have this one for cheap at local shop. $60
Budget is around $175-$250.00 and I don't mind buying used.
I use an FMR Really Nice compressor, which is an amazing comp for the price-kinda hoping to find an EQ like that affordable/but sounds great....if only FMR made one!!
:o
It's a Mackie 1642vlz pro. it's got "ok" eq I guess.
But I think a good parametric EQ (not really looking for graphic) would be a nice addition to my rig. Maybe stereo, or 2 separate single channels.
Im looking for a decent outboard EQ for "mastering"...meaning my diy approach to mastering my stereo mixes before they go into the digital world (from Tascam 22-2).
Don't want to use a computer/plugin for this. Can't really afford pro mastering/and wouldn't really make much sense to do that at...
...on my way home! I took a quick shot with my cell phone.
They were closed but I'm going back to check it out soon!

Not sure what model it is, but was nice too see a tape deck in the window.
It was a hifi audio shop here in nyc.
basically you plug the outs of your tape deck (or mixer), to the ins of your sound card. play the tape-check the levels a bit, then record on your pc the playback of the tape once you have a good signal going in.
