Metal's not dead. Metal is underground. What you see on tv or hear on radio is never metal. You have to search for good music, it doesn't come to you. don't you dare calling mallcore bands metal or "nu-metal". The only thing "nu-metal" has to do with metal its the stupid name "nu-metal" grrrrrrrr

Vocals sound more like mudwaine, but I hate Mallcore anyway... The guitar sound is not bad, but should have more high end, but I'm not a mallcore fan so... you shouldn't take my oppinion seriously, but try boosting a little bit of high frequencies, cutting some mids, and leave the lows.

midi is just to stick around before recording audio, and help with song creation. I also use some organ and ensemble midi sounds for environment in some parts. I'm doing metal and progressive stuff, cant describe it with words. I'll post some mp3 later on... is that audiophile really good?

I Don't need the midi sound to be great, just to play the piano and do the metronome beats. I need good audio quality for my records, and I wonder how can a card be better than another for that purpose. I think I'll never use more than about 15 tracks at the same time, and I also need the midi...
