make sure all your effects sends are down. if that doesn't do the trick. make sure your internal mic isn't on. if those dont help, get a new one

You can not plug a condenser in to the MR8 unless it has a different power source (like an internal battery). It doesn't offer phantom power.

To my knowledge, all of those 4 track tape recorders record with the same method. I think if you threw that tape in a different 4 track it would work fine. Do you know anyone with a 4 track tape machine? Be sure to test it before you buy anything for sure.

Why set a limit at all!? That's wack! I am writing a request for this to be fixed in the new version of the OS. Hopefully it's just the software that is at fault here. Otherwise it would be an unfixable problem.
