    C1 and SM 57 for kick

    Thanks guys for your advice. I don't ever hear anything about the marshall mikes in Holland but you guys on the forum seem to be really enthousiastic about em. I allready ordered the C1 in England so the marshall isn't in the budget right now. Maybe later it would be a good choice. Thanks. Marc

    Two B3's good choice as overhead?

    I'm recording with a tascam dm 24 and Hammerfall 5296 soundcard. I own a drumkit with a killer sound and have a beta 57 on snare, two sm 57's on my toms, an Atm 25 in the kick and an AT4041 above my hihat. The only thing I'm not shure about are my OH's. Would recording with two SP B3's be a...

    The shure beta 91

    I hear a lot of positive reactions about the beta 91 in live situations, but what about doing a recording job with it. I have a $1500 maple made kick and I'm very happy with his sound, do you think a beta 91 is a good choice in my situation?? Let me know Thanks
