And I'm sure Guilford fabrics are super expensive, where would you find price listings? Maybe calling in? haha. I think I'll stick to a local fabric store. And again thanks for the info. I was thinking burgandy and black myself, but I think something a bit lighter would fit well with a pine...

    Making a flat sounding room!?!

I am a newbie fo planning out acoustics and a floor plan. the rooms that I will be using for recording are in an old farm house attic, 23'x13'x3'x10 (LxWxH1xH2), at H2 is the peak which is 10 feet. That is the big room then the smaller room 10'x7'x3'x8 (LxWxH1xH2), those are all rough...

    Acoustics

Yea dude, the books do act as abosrbants. So what I would do is find some foam 2" to 4" thick and place it all over the ceiling. You can find foam pretty much anywhere. How big is the room anyway? If its small you'll have some problems with getting goods sounding recordings. Only way to...

    Headphone Distribution Systems!!

So how would I hook up a Furman HDS-6/HR-6 system to a Roland VS 2400 system? How would I send the mixes into the HR-6 boxes for everyone. Does the Roland have some kind of a output for that or do I have to figure something else out?

    Monitors!

Ok, I'm looking around for monitors and I want a decent pair and a crappy pair. For a decent pair I'm looking at Blue Sky 2.1, Event 20/20 biamped monitor or KRK if I can afford them. For the crappy pair, Yamaha NS10M. Must have these. When I was working in a studio they had those Yamaha...
