im using the module that came with the drums. its a yamaha dtx550k i am using the adpator that came with it.

When ever I hit one my my electronic drum heads it makes a weird noise after the sound has passed. Its an electronic-y sound thats static mixed with a screeching-ish noise. should i be concerned or is it normal for drums?

Does anyone know how you can record music on sony acid 7? i mean with out actual insturments, just on the computer. I've heard you can but I can't seem to do it with the soft synth DLS they have on there, please help.

How do I record with a light snake? I plug it into my piano in the line out plug then into my computers USB port but i don't know what to do next. I click record on audacity but audacity just says problem opening sound device.

If i connect an electric drumset to a PA system then the PA to any kind of amp could I still possibly blow the amp if it is not sufficient for electric drums.

I dont have a synth so I use the synth setting on my digital piano and layer it with other sounds on my piano. I also recorded the bass line on my piano. lol. And thank you for your opinion. I was going for Modern day Brian Eno.

Does anyone have experience with the Zoom H3 Handy Recorder? Is it a good recorder? good sound quality? It seems pretty practical like an audio recorder (for use in lectures and stuff) but for music. Does it pick up guitar and vocals well?
