It was all tracked on a Fostex VF160. Most of the drums into a ADA8000 pre the rest into the fostex pre. Drum mics... Beta 52, Beta 56 x 4, Kel HM-1's for O/H, GrooveTube GT-55 for room mic, JoeMeek JM27 for hat and bottom of snare. Vocals Oktava MKL 2500 Bass DI into a behringer Bass DBI21...

But a lot of people wouldn't have the opportunity to mix a well tracked song if a mix contest wasnt offered.

I think everybody knew what they were in for when they jumped in on the GB. I knew I was taking a chance. If it is just a sagging ribbon that can be fixed in a matter of 30 mins. I'm fine with that.

Chance, what % of mics do you still have to ship out.

:confused::confused: Isn't it ADAT but only sending 2 channels of data in ADAT format.. While recording I setup my recording device to accept ADAT the same for the ART or the Behringer.

Only the 2 channels you select. I also have a Behr... ADA8000. I can use 6 channels of the ADA8000 and 2 channels of the ART by plugging the ADAT out of the ADA8000 to the input of the ART then the ADAT out my ADAT recorder. (Channels 1 -6 from behringer and channels 78 from ART). I like it...

Yes it has ADAT out. That is how I use mine.

Check out partsexpress.com. I got a lot of good info in the forums over there when I built my speakers.

You can rewire a mic cable if you using a dynamic mic.
