I believe that Drumagog calculates the velocity and groups them for you.

looking for a solid recording interface that will last

Ahhhhhhhh the 828MKII rules. It'll be my next interface once my Deltas decide to die (could be never ). Congrats! Hope it keeps working great for ya!

    NIN cover.

Should have chosen a better NIN song to cover  But, definitely sounds well done. The chorus is a little anticlimactic for my taste (the NIN version seemed to bring a lot more energy in). Not a fan of the vocals, but oh well. Decent job.

Audio Drop-out, Random Crashing, and more problems with Cubase 4...

So, at the least, you're using 15-25 plugs. Okay, that's quite a few, but not too bad. But 75-125? Come on dude, no way you're getting or NEED that many on there. You're definitely overloading your project. What's your CPU usage at? If it's 70% or over, you're pushing it too hard. Try freezing...

I'd also appreciate some notes, as I think these monitors are hyping the high end and rolling off some of the low end but need some confirmation D:

Noisy Graphic redrawing after motherboard change

Yeah, sounds like you're getting classic interference seen with older cards. AGP cards are so inexpensive now, even if you weren't getting noise, there'd be no reason NOT to get one Edit: also, just to be sure, the sound is coming from your speakers, right?

XP XP XP XP though I do like the phrase "turn down the gay"

New ram for my computer to lower latency?

Mixing speeds is a no-no. It should automatically scale down to the lowest speed, but I've seen too many motherboards complain about it to recommend it. Newegg is your friend Tons of good stuff about that RAM, and I'm going to be ordering 2 GB of it very soon. There are also a lot of similar...

Woo! Top 11! After listening to my final mix, I kind of wish I would have stayed with one of the earlier ones. Oh well, it was fun! I guess you don't pick up on sarcasm very well :P Read back a couple pages

If you're giving people one free, why the $169 to Paypal? I smell something fishy.

    Faster CPU or more RAM???

I was just thinking about the RCA ins/outs. I guess it all depends on what your whole setup is, but I personally prefer using 1/4" connections. The 24/96 is definitely a good option though.

Tracks move when I change tempo

That's what I was looking for, but I couldn't find anything like that. However, in Preferences -> Editing, you can set the default timebase to linear (though it's not a fix, it should achieve what you're looking for). I don't know if it affects projects you already have made though.

Tracks move when I change tempo

Christ, I did this awhile ago and now can't seem to find it. Gimme 5 minutes  Okay, it looks like if you switch the track's timebase to linear, it won't move to the tempo change (though I did it a different way last time, but can't for the life of me remember how)

    Faster CPU or more RAM???

Well, it seems like your budget keeps going down and under $150 you don't really have a lot of options. For something that you'll be able to use for a long time, you're looking at $300+. M-Audio stuff is great, but if $50 difference is what's going to make/break your budget, you really should...
