In Cubase VST 4 I selected Sound Forge as the wave editor. Now I also want to select Soundforge in SX, but I can't figure out how. Anyone?

I’m a new Cubase user and I’m enjoying audio-recording with it. But now I also want to add synths-lines to my songs. There are some good VSTi’s in Cubase, but there’s also a lot of freeware and shareware synths around. How can I install those synths in Cubase?

Well, I've tried a lot of times. Every Zip-file I've made goes wrong....

Fruity Loops problem: I've created some FL-zip files, but I can't open them. Each time I get a message telling me the file may be corrupted. What can I do to open the files?

Thanks! I need this set up (in the effects loop) for live performance. For recording, applying the eq. AFTER the amp would a better way. And also, when applying the eq. in the effects loop the signal will be powerfull enough for the eq.

I'd like to get more grip on my bass-sound. I think an equalizer will help me in colouring the sound. But what equalizer should I use? I see a lot of cheap Behringer 19" eq. around, but I know they're mostly used in PA-systems and studios. My option is to set the equalizer in the effects loop...

But that's not the point. It is possible to set a measure of 3/4 in FL. The point is wether it is possible to have different measures in one song. For instance, three times a 4/4 and then a 5/4. If this is on a regular base, making one long pattern of (4 times 4 and one of 5 =) 21 beats is an...

I know the problem. Maybe this could be an idea: Each pattern represents a beat (=actually, for instance, a 2/4 measure). 4 patterns then are a 4/4, 3 patterns are a 3/4. Off course you have to adjust the tempo. Might just be a little labor-intensive....
