im planning on buying a yamaha mixer , i have a dbx mini pre amp for my studio projects b1. do i connect the pre then go to the mixer, then to my pc? or do i go, mixer, pre, then to the pc? thank you

thats what i do now, i want to know if when i bring it into the same track as my other vocal track can i merge the two so they can become one track instead of two.

i know you can merge two seprate tracks into one using the duplicate feature in pro tools, is there a feature where i can merge two sets of recording into one in CEP? Because i sometimes have two sets of vocals i want to be one. thank you

yea i had some radioshack cables and i thought saomething was wrong with my pre, then i bought some cables from my music stores i think there called NEUTRIX, but anyway, the sounds was 200 percent better, no more buzz.

i was told that one wasnt as good as the akg h100, even though its made for the spb1

ive read on these forums that the SPB1 has an internal shock mount. i was thinking about getting the AKG H100 for it, but is it necessary since theres an internal one? thank you.

i just made a new temp folder... cause the other one was in a loop because i had a power outage during one of my sessions. i have a UPS back up now so that wont happen again.

happened to me as well, was told by users on this board to change my Temp folder, sure enough it worked. good luck.

look at the ART pres and the DBX mini-pre they come with 48v of phantom power
