Carvin makes EXCELLENT basses and guitars. I've owned Carvin guitars since 1981 and I will not revert to any other brand. I've put them up against instruments that cost twice as much and they have not been able to come close in playability, tone and apearance.

It sounds like the speakers voice coil is fried. Definately take it back where you bought it and have them replace it. You DO NOT want a new amp that does that.

I've been using D'Addario's for the past 22 years. They might not be "the best" but they have served me well.

My favorite drummer is this kid that plays backup in a small church band in North West Miami, he goes by the name KRIPPY! :D

Ok, I finally got around to this.. Remember that I just bought my AW-16G so ignore the screw up from 0.17 to 0.20..:rolleyes: . Anyway I did a RREEal simple rhythm line, then I did a take on the electric then a small take on the acoustic. ( I didn't mic the acoustic so don't SLAM ME! ;) )...

Well yesterday was the first time that I actually sat down and layed some tracks on the G. The shit is really awesome, in less than 10 minutes I set up and routed conections (internally) and recorded a couple of guitar tracks. Very straight forward and easy, I'm sure I only made a tiny scratch...

Re: a master of the obvious I know, thats why I called them. Actually I called Sam Ash first just because they were close to my job but they had it for $1,300.00!!:rolleyes: I didn't know they bought that many units! Thats pretty damn impressive!!!!

I just bought one yesterday in Guitar Center. They mached Musicians Friends price of $950.00. I am on the manual now and its pretty darn FAT! :( I hung up my computer for recording, no more hardware, irq. ics, imp, stp, cab, CBS, ABC and CNN errors!:D
