ok, I will put up an idea in the next couple of days. First as an mp3 and then whoever wants to jump on can just bump me and we can figure out what do from there
I agree with Talldog,
If you are going to do this you will need some help and luck finding a good machine. They almost always have some problems that need fixing, No matter how cool they sound when you are checking them out. Whatever you do, take your time and test the machine before you buy it...
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone out there would like to colaborate on a Project.
To do this Analog we would have to use the same format and maybe send short 1/4" tapes or pieces of Tape back and forth...
Just for fun and for Free. I have the following Maschines:
Tascam ATR 60 / 8 Channel...
Hi,
If this system has 8 separate rec/playback Amp cards in it you could carefully swap the channel 6 card with say.. the channel 1 card and test again. If channel 6 now works (and channel o1 does not) you have a problem with the Rec/Play Amp card.
Try this out and see if the problem follows...
Hi,
I would attatch the outputs of the 80-8 to the Inputs of the M35
then attach the four subgroup outputs of the M35 to the top back row of the patch field . Inputs 1 to 4. Then connect the eight record Inputs of the 80-8 to the bottom back row of inputs on your patch field. Inputs 1-8.
So...
How about this .. I have just purchased a TASCAM ATR 60 / 8 . The ouputs are +4db (can also be set to +8db) My mixer is a TASCAM M-2516 and it´s Inputs are all -10db. Will I be needing a Mixer with +4db inputs and outputs?
ATR-60 / 8 Are these good Machines?
Hi,
I have the chance to pick up a very nice looking ATR-60 / 8 with the original Maintenance Book and Manuals, Cart, DB, Remote.. the Heads look very very nice.
Is this a good Machine?
Hi, I do not see a pic here... Does the Tape unit have a Noise Reduction unit with it? Some of these Tape Maschines need a special plug / bridge if the NR is not connected. It is basically some bridge connections to bypass the NR.

Man oh man!!! This is so 70s! This is great! Great keyboard sound and Guitar work. This could have been the soundtrack to Baretta or Kojak!
Guitar? ES-335? Authentic!!!
I say Yes.. the two mic pres in front and the two Line ins in back with the white background. I have a Saffire pro40.
They also have nice routing. thats 4 inputs not including SPDIF.
THat´s a tough one without having an exploded view. Just a guess here... should the arm in the last pic be sitting on the larger pin , darker metal pin right below it in the pic. Kind of like an elbow joint.. look at the pic below
just an idea
