couple of punk rock songs! ..i guess

well do a scratch guitar with the drums &then do guitars and then do bass and vocals. this actually sounds okay for a live recording though

    Bass tone on this track

infact, i'll post a rough mix of this band i've been recording. it's got some fat bass in it, i used the sans amp on his bass of course. gave it a small amount of drive, and it's got a miced cab/DI feel at the same time. http://www.lightningmp3.com/live/18230_foragoodcausedancedancerevolution.mp3

about a year or so ago, a good friend of mine (who is a genious at recording &things of the like) moved his stuff in my house and we recorded a bunch of things. i played all the instruments, and he mixed everything. he used nuendo to do it all &it's really good stuff. i just figured i'd share...

hey man, have you ever played with a sans amp? when i record bass, i usually run it through a sans amp. if you give it a little bit of drive, it really beefs the bass up and give it a nice warm fuzzy tone :)

    Metal track

i dont know if you meant for the toms to be so dead, but i absoutely love it. the drums overall are incredible. bass drum is the weakest, but it's not horrible. guitars are good, but they could use a bit more high/mid. i'm not liking the bass much, i always like that miced cab feel with a lot...

    I'm new here...

i'm not crazy about the snare, i'd like to hear a bit more high end. but then again, everything i mix has a bit too much high end.

    "progressive" punk

you've definitely got the oldschool sound going on. &being a former punk fan, i'm sure the band's happy.
