    A piano and strings song

Hey robus... Thanks. I thought the flute sounded pretty good... Even at the end of the line you could hear the breath part.... I'm using the east west stuff for strings Yes I was at the very bottom of my vocal range. Some of those lines I did many takes. It was a struggle. Thanks for listening

    A piano and strings song

Hey Guys. Happy holidays. I decided to do a different type of song instead of the heavy rock. This more low and entirely different way for me to mix but I thought it would be good practice. Please let me know you guys think and I can improve on that mix. Song is called Out to Sea. Thanks...

Country Rock - is the mix ok?

I liked it. SOunds great. I hear the ssss alittle too much.....in the chorus i would put something on the right and use that stereo spectrum a little more. Also the versus need small fills again using the stereo spectrum. Country songs have a lot going in them but in very subtle ways. Another...

    Feedback required - Mixing Song

Hey.... I would say the lead vocal needs a desser....other than that the mix sounds good. Not my genre, though

LIES....new track. Need a bass check

LMAO, I know it was so funny when I had people recording those lines on to my cell phone. We had quite a laugh about it. Btw the pitchy chorus endings are "fixed". I didn't want to go back and rerecord just that. I had to sing for a week straight to get my voice in shape so I could sing that high.

Mirror, Mirror, in the dark.. (Known as, Beppe)

I think you forgot beatles too. I definitely here some of that. I liked it! I'm listening on headphones so I can't comment on the mix....nice job.

I mixed a singer/songwriter today. Looking for critique on mix.

It's hard enough just getting a great sound when everything is isolated, but with enough practice I'm sure you'll get there.

LIES....new track. Need a bass check

Ok, well thank guys for listening. I appreciate the feedback. I will repost soon with the vocals putting them up a bit, and check for the OH for swirlly frequency. I didn't check that before....and the pitch on vocal (dobro).

LIES....new track. Need a bass check

Thank you!!!! I think you're right... I'll have to ride the fader. Definitely see what you're saying in the prechorus where I go up to the D(5th fret)....the bottom falls out for that section. I've heard the song 500 times by now and those little nuances are the ones I'm missing.....guitar tones...

https://soundcloud.com/fernando-t-5/lies UPDATED This is the final version. Thanks to all the great comments! Hey I'm pretty happy with mix except for the bass sound. I'm not sure anymore. I tried a new plugin CLA bass and just used the SUB function to give it a little more girth. What do you...

    Tall Order. New Song.

Hey Robus, It sounds as though the drums(kick snare) are panned left. I would prefer in the center. That's the only thing that throws me off. I like this. Very soothing. Instruments are cool. In the chorus I would suggest a semi clean outlining the chords on every quater beat...ala police style...

    New track called Magnetic

This is not my genre of music, but it is very well done. Very Crisp..great bass response. I would suggest more blurbs with a ping pong effect using a female voice.

Melodic hardrock...a mix of old and new

thanks Robus....The song is mastered. There is a bit of a jump but only because the intensity jumps with the double kick, china cymbal and addition of the lead at the end, but the meters are pretty steady. RFR. thank god you listened on real speakers. I agree sometimes you just need to self...

Melodic hardrock...a mix of old and new

Yes, you guys are absolutely correct about the intro being too long. Orginally I had it start from the piano, but self indulgence got the better of me lol. Believe me my song history, I usually get to the chorus by the first minute. most songs are under 4 minutes, but, ya know. Brutish....yes I...

Melodic hardrock...a mix of old and new

Thanks for listening Phil....not rude at all. I understand exactly what you are saying. I've stayed away from doing the old school rock for many years, but in this last year I've come to embrace it again. I thought the chorus was more numetal.....more modern....how's the mix? Anything lacking?
