Format the tapes at a sample rate of 44100 if you want to make cds or you will have to change the sample rate later.

I am not sure exactly what you are trying to do but on my xt I am able to bump a couple of drum tracks down to one track and have never had a problem with it. I didn't have to go through my mackie to do it, just within the adat itself.

If you get the pcr card you can drop all the tracks down to a pc and probably do whatever you want there and then dump them back to the adat

I love my adat. I bought the pcr card and download the tracks into my pc for further mixing but its just nice having all the controls right at my fingertips and the ability to record 8 tracks at once live, its just convienant

Why doesn't cakewalks volume faders respond instantly? Is there anyway to listen to the effects while tracks are playing and adjusting them.
