I'm not a real expert like some of the people here but I can tell you that you should just experiment! You don't need to come on here to ask if you can EQ something. Try adding some low end, some high, some mid, see what sounds good to you and there's your answer.

Hi, lately I've been having trouble keeping the bleed from the drums out of the mics for the guitars, is there any way to possibly avoid or reduce this problem with one of those drum shields? I've seen them in various stores, including musicians friend, and they seem a bit steep at 200-400...

I sorta get what you're saying there....what kind of A/D converter would you reccomend buying? Am I going to need one with 8 channels (for the 8 adat lightpipe channels)?

How are the preamps on the 896HD compared to say the Sytek MPX-4A? From what I've read on this board through searching, people seem to like the Motu preamps but are they alright as my primary and only source for preamps? What about compared to some of the cheaper standalone preamps on...

Yup they aired an interview with Jack White on WBCN all about it. He also said he was against all digital computer recording because it allows so many people to put really shitty music out there too easily. I suppose he's refering to most of this board, myself included :)
