There's a lot of drywall left to be done. :( I still need floors, and the electric has to be finalized. We've had a lot of stuff going on with our business lately,(good stuff) so that's kind of kept me out of there, at least on a regular basis.

Cool. So, I plunked down a few coin on a Spector 4 string. My first bass. I don't see a model name or number on it anywhere.... just pickups labeled EMG-SSD :cool: :confused:

GC will not loan out mics, and the health code reasons are not BS! Understand that many times a mic is used on vocals. Someone is breathing on it, spitting on it, touching the grill with their mouth and lips.... the list goes on. Its a perfect condition for a transference of germs. Wanna catch...

I have 2 Fatar keyboards. The "Studio 90" (discontinued long ago), and the "SL 990", both are great keyboards, with weighted keys. I'd look for one of those.

OK. I need to dispell a myth here. The "Michael Jones" with 9 + albums/CD's is not me. We have similar tastes in music and similar styles in playing, but I'm not the Michael Jones with 9 CD's. I think the guy stole my name because he knows of my political ramblings and musing in the cave...

Yeah. OK. Sounds pretty good for a rough sketch. SM7 is a great mike! I have 2 of them, and use them mostly for vocals as well. Keep working on it and polish it up.

You are going to get as many answers to that question as there are flavours of ice cream. Ultimately, you're going to have to decide. Go to the music store. Audition some. Pick the one you like best.

You can pick 'em up on e-bay fairly cheap now. 600 bucks or so. How does that compare with the CM Labs stuff?

The Yamaha O1V will do all that. Of course it comes with a bank of pres that you may or may not use. And you get 14 motorized faders, plus a motorized master, instead of 8 and 1.
